The shipping cost is €5.99 for Italy, France, Germany, Spain, the United Kingdom, Austria, Portugal, Poland, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Belgium, and Luxembourg for orders under €39.99.
For orders over €40.00 to these countries, shipping will be free.
The shipping cost may vary from €5.99 to €44.99 for the rest of the world depending on the destination and the total weight of the order.

Explanations about the spare part
This planetary unit is the essential part that rotates both externally and internally the connected whisk. The bayonet housing also allows for stable and secure support of connected accessories such as the leaf whisk, wire whisk, or dough hook.
Symptoms, what problems can you solve by replacing this planetary unit?
QUESTION: I can no longer insert the whisk into my Kenwood kMix stand mixer, why?
ANSWER: Check that hardened dough parts are not stuck in the shaft housing and that the side guides of the support are clean and intact. If they are damaged, it is necessary to replace this cover head.
QUESTION: During mixing, the hook gets stuck or seems to move strangely, what is happening?
ANSWER: Most likely, the gear of the planetary drive unit has been damaged; it is absolutely essential to follow the usage instructions in the manual to avoid damaging the components of your stand mixer. Very often, Kenwood recommends setting the minimum speed when using the dough hook to avoid straining the gears or the motor. Increasing the speed does not help much and only leads to unnecessary strain on the parts.
Our advice and Diagnostics
- Usually, this cover or its gears fail due to incorrect settings during the mixing function or due to overly intensive work without taking the necessary breaks. Always follow the instructions in the manual to avoid overloading the machine and breaking the gears, remembering that it is still a household appliance.
- Clean with a soft microfiber cloth and warm water, avoiding the use of harsh detergents to prevent damaging the chrome finishes. Also, always clean immediately after finishing operations and avoid letting dough or creams dry on them; if possible, use the splash guard cover.
- If possible, disassemble the cover and clean it thoroughly from debris and residues from time to time, and at least once a volta a year check the presence and condition of the lubricant grease. If it is too dry, remove it and reapply. If you are replacing the cover, it is essential to apply a reasonable amount of food-grade lubricant grease inside it.
Assembly instructions
Replacing the cover is very simple; just unscrew the central nut that holds it in place and pull it down. If there are no particular damages, it should come off quickly and without problems. When replacing it, make sure to insert food-grade lubricant grease on the sides of the rack of the head and apply a drop of thread locker on the threads of the nut that secures the cover.
