This AX D/80 filter contains special food-grade cationic resins for softening tap water, with bacteriostatic properties thanks to a special silver additive.  
In addition to providing excellent protection against the formation of limescale deposits in the machine and enhancing the flavor of coffee, it also prevents bacterial proliferation during periods of inactivity of the coffee machine.  

The lifespan varies based on water hardness, from 1 to 2.5 months; replace or remove at the end.
