In linea generale, il contenitore (o cassetta raccogli polvere) è il componente del sistema di stoccaggio dello sporco. Durante il ciclo di pulizia, il motore di aspirazione convoglia polvere, peli e detriti attraverso le spazzole direttamente in questa tanica. Un serbatoio integro e pulito è indispensabile per evitare che la polvere ritorni nell'ambiente.

Domanda: Perché il robot segnala che il contenitore è pieno anche se è vuoto?
Risposta: Spesso i sensori posti sul serbatoio sono sporchi o il filtro HEPA integrato è ostruito. Se dopo la pulizia il problema persiste, i contatti o il sensore del serbatoio potrebbero essere guasti.
Domanda: Il serbatoio non si aggancia più correttamente, perché?
Risposta: Probabilmente il gancio di collegamento a molla si è spezzato o deformato. Un serbatoio non fissato bene causa perdita di aspirazione.

Per verificare che sia proprio il serbatoio il problema, estrailo dal robot e ispezionalo controluce: cerca micro-fratture nella plastica trasparente, specialmente vicino agli angoli o cerniere. Se possiedi un modello lavapavimenti, riempilo d'acqua, chiudi il tappo e scuotilo leggermente sopra un lavandino per verificare la tenuta ermetica. Controlla anche che non ci siano detriti incastrati nella bocca di ingresso che impediscono al coperchio di chiudersi ermeticamente.
