Common Problems and Solutions

Disconnect power, remove the casing, and replace with the new motor ensuring polarity and fittings are correct.

Which wire to connect to the pressure switch?

Refer to the manual; the Bitron pressure switch has standard color coding on Electrolux/Aeg appliances.

Does the water filter require maintenance?

Replace SBS every 6–12 months or at the first drop in flow.

Is the drain pump universal?

The Hanyu and IMS models fit many dryers; check connections and power.

Can the heating element be self-repaired?

Not recommended; always replace with a certified 1950 W spare part for safety.
